Partnership with Mediation Chambers (Hong Kong)

On 9th September 2025, during the Pakistan ADR Convention 2025, the International Dispute Resolution Institute (IDI) formally entered into a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Mediation Chambers, Hong Kong, marking a significant step forward in Pakistan’s efforts to institutionalize Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and enhance regional cooperation in mediation and arbitration. The MoU was signed in the presence of Senator Ishaq Dar, whose endorsement underscored the Government of Pakistan’s commitment to advancing ADR as a credible and effective mechanism for dispute resolution, while fostering greater collaboration with China and the broader Asia-Pacific region. This partnership aims to promote joint professional training and accreditation of mediators, develop cross-border mediation frameworks, and support judicial and institutional capacity-building initiatives in Pakistan. The collaboration also seeks to establish a Pakistan–China Mediation Corridor, positioning Pakistan as a regional hub for commercial mediation and dispute resolution excellence. Through this alliance, IDI and Mediation Chambers, Hong Kong, reaffirm their shared vision of promoting justice through dialogue, professionalism, and international cooperation.
